Maru is a word that literally means "circle" and was indicative of a merchant vessel. Prior to the war, this ship would have run routes between Japan and Rio. It’s a fantastic place to photograph colorful reef panoramas and big animals like manta rays and sharks. That’s one of the adopted slogans for the Lembeh Strait, a unique and incredibly biodiverse region boasting some of the best muck diving anywhere in the world. Weird (and wonderful) it is! And there is fantastic diving in the more remote parts of the Bahamas (far from the casinos and cruise ships). After an early bud burst in early April, flowering was gradual and took place in good conditions in all the vineyards. Then a hot summer began in late June, which the vines bravely resisted: they suffered little from water stress, thanks to the chamomile herbal infusions we sprayed on the vegetation to cope with the heat. Finally, the harvest went as usual, without any particular precocity.
